The medallions honoring geodetic surveyor Charles Mason and land surveyor Jeremiah Dixon are now available in antique bronze and 0.999 fine silver. The front features a likeness of their equal-altitude transit with telescope and the reverse side is a map of their famous geodetic line that has become representative of state boundaries.
The medallions honoring surveyors Meriweather Lewis and William Clark are also available in antique bronze and 0.999 fine silver. The front depicts Capt. Lewis taking an observation with an octant and Capt. Clark recording the notes as they map and explore the Louisiana Purchase. The reverse side is another map showing the extent of their 1804-1806 expedition.
Both style coins are 'limited edition' and the medallions are numbered on the edges of both versions.
